If something the Thermaltake guys do well is the liquid cooling systems, and an example of this are the novelties and the new customized kits that have brought Computex Thermaltake CL360 Max, C240 DDC and C360 DDC and that are for sale for use and enjoy the most demanding. But in addition to this, it has also presented a new prototype that performs the function of chassis and expansion tank simultaneously.

The chassis-tank prototype

No doubt this idea has enchanted us, especially those of us who have a weakness for seeing different and daring things in the computer world. Thermaltake has shown in its stand an original chassis in vertical configuration that has no cover of any kind.

It is a vertical panel built in methacrylate to which two large aluminum legs are attached and in which we can install a base plate, power supply and radiators up to 360 mm. But the best thing of all is that it also has a hollow interior so that it works as an expansion base in custom liquid cooling.

In this way we will be able to create a refrigeration circuit with a pump, a large radiator and a transparent tank that occupies the entire holding area of the main hardware. As you can see, the appearance is impressive, especially for the original system that the brand has installed, with a 360mm radiator, Riing Trio 120mm fans along with a controller and flow pump and block for custom CPU.

Custom Liquid Cooling Kits

These are personalized refrigeration kits that each user will have to assemble piece by piece developing their creative facet. These kits have everything you need to assemble our own CPU cooling system from scratch.

In total, 5 new variants of these kits will be available depending on their size and number of accessories:

  • Pacific C240 DDC Hard Tube: This kit comes with rigid tubes for 240mm heatsink mounts, two Riing Duo ARGB fans, and the integrated 200ml reservoir pumping system. Also includes (1) 1000 ml clear coolant, (6) 16mm OD compression fittings for C-Pro PETG tubes, (2) 90 ° adapters, (8) 500mm PETG hard tubes, thermal paste, and the cooling fluid. Pacific C360 DDC Hard Tube: In this model what we are changing is the radiator for a bigger 360 mm one and three Riing Duo ARGB fans. Pacific C240 DDC Soft Tube and Pacific C360 DDC Soft Tube: likewise, we will have the first and second commented kits with flexible tubes instead of rigid ones. In which case, we will have a hose 200 cm long. Pacific CL360 Max: This system is a more advanced model with a 360mm radiator, but built in copper, with a thicker profile for maximum performance and with integrated RGB lighting. In addition to the other accessories of the other kits, it includes a microcontroller to be managed using the brand's software.

Wide range of cooling fluids

These kits will be available with different cooling fluids. We see in the photo that there are two types of fluids, the Thermaltake P1000 Pastel, which are basically opaque fluids, and the Thermaltake P1000 Transparent, which are the transparent version.

We can choose the one that we like the most, and we also have many colors available in both types and a total of 1000 ml per jar.

High profile radiators for extreme configurations

The next item that has been featured has been a series of high profile radiators named Thermaltake CLM240, CLM360 and CLM 480, obviously referring to the mounting size.

These radiators have a width of 400 mm and are entirely made of copper, instead of aluminum. In fact, there are even larger ones as we see in the images, oriented to extreme mounts, and only compatible with the largest chassis on the market.

Pacific DP100 Plus Distro Plate: pump + tank

Finally, the last element that has been presented to us along with this series of cooling solutions is a peculiar tank + pump system. Like the chassis-tank, it is made of acrylic material and for practical purposes it is a combination of radiator-tank with a built-in pump.

This means that we can install it as if it were a radiator, that is, they come in configurations of 240 and 360 mm with holes to mount fans on it. But it also includes the pump and a liquid expansion tank so that it can be cooled.

How could it be otherwise, it includes RGB LED lighting at its ends, giving it a personality and impressive and never seen finishes.

Availability

The cooling kits are now available for purchase in the Premium section of Thermaltake for prices ranging from $ 279.99 for the C240 DDC Soft Tube version to $ 319.99 for the C360 DDC Hard Tube version.

We recommend our guide to the best heatsinks and liquid cooling on the market

The CL360 kit is not yet available nor do we know the price, as is the tank-chassis prototype and the Distro Plate.

Finally, cooling fluids are also for sale and cost between $ 16 and $ 40, both clear and pastel.
