Thermaltake ux 100 argb and ux 200, the two new mid-range heatsinks

Now it's time to talk a bit and introduce the two new Thermaltake UX 100 ARGB and Thermaltake UX 200 ARGB heatsinks. Thermaltake has brought many innovations in its Computex 2019 stand, especially in regards to the cooling of our PC. We tell you the first details about these two small heatsinks.

Thermaltake UX 100 ARGB RGB Low Profile Heatsink

We start with the smaller of the two heatsinks, and also the most original and striking. It may seem like the dish where Asians eat noodles, but nothing further from reality is a low profile heatsink quite extensive horizontally.

The brand wanted to directly install a fan with addressable RGB lighting and compatible with lighting technologies from the main manufacturers of motherboards. In addition, it is protected by a plastic plate that covers the entire lateral area of ​​it. This fan rotates through a hydraulic bearing and has a total of 15 LED lamps installed.

As for the passive system, we have a cold copper block from which the entire system of concentric fins directly comes out until reaching the total diameter of the fan. And the truth is that this heatsink looks very good, especially if we talk about aesthetics. We hope we can test it to see how it goes.

Thermaltake UX 200 ARGB tower sink with RGB fan

The second product is a rather more traditional heatsink than the previous one. The UX 200 comes as a vertical tower only heatsink with an addressable RGB fan installed. This fan is exactly the same as the previous one, 120 mm and 15 LED lamps that can be synchronized through the lighting technology of a motherboard.

This 120mm tower is responsible for dissipating heat thanks to 8 copper heat pipes, located on both sides of the cold plate that makes contact with the CPU. This makes its performance rise compared to the previous model, withstanding up to 130 W of heat.

Compatibility

In the absence of specifying the compatibility of these heatsinks, the manufacturer informs us that UX 100 can be installed as much on an AMD socket as Intel. We are sure that this compatibility will be with the LGA 1151 socket from Intel and AM4 from AMD. Details of the other model are not provided.
