Today, July 30, 2019 , ASUS has officially announced stable updates that support Ryzen 3000 on 300 and 400 series motherboards. For a while now, we've been watching news about compatibility, space, and ROM issues , but these new updates seem to fix them.

Upgrades for ASUS 300 and 400 Series motherboards

According to the brand itself, they were not satisfied with creating the best X570s on the market, but instead needed to offer the best BIOS support. Although they are a bit daring statements, we do have to give credit to the great support they offer in their oldest plates. Below you will see a table with the compatibilities according to the board and processor:

As you can see, the support for most old processors is maintained without losing Ryzen 3000 . If no new problems arise, this could be one of the first stable and cheap platforms for the new AMD processors.

We can update our ASUS motherboards in two ways:

  1. Using ASUS USB BIOS Flashback (only if your board supports it), where a common USB FAT32 is used and the process is allowed to proceed automatically. Using the EZ Flash 3 application built into the ASUS UEFI BIOS . This function also allows us to use a USB, but we can also download it from the internet directly.

We will be covering any news that comes out about it, so stay tuned to the news portal. Do you think this update will be the definitive one or do you think that ASUS and other brands motherboards will continue to have problems? Share your ideas below.
