The “fever” of owning a Chinese smartphone is an increasingly recurring phenomenon. Such is the example of the new Jiayu G5, a new terminal attractive to the eye thanks to an aluminum body that gives it greater elegance, emulating western models.

Inside we do not find any great news, since it is very similar to its predecessor Jiayu G4 Turbo Advanced but with a new body, so we find the use of the MediaTek MT6589T @ 1.5 GHz SoC accompanied by 2 GB of RAM memory, a 2000 mAh battery, 32 GB of internal storage (expandable), dual support for SIM cards and camera with 13 megapixel sony sensor. Another difference that we observe with respect to the Jiayu G4 is its 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. As indicated on Jiayu.es, the Jiayu G5 will be released at the same time as its S1 model, and will be available in Spain very soon.

Jiayu G5 will be available in two different versions, a simple one with just 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage, and a more cost-effective version known commercially as “Advanced”, with 2 GB of Ram and 32 GB of storage. The cost will vary depending on the model, but its most expensive version will not exceed 185 Euros, which makes it an adjustable smartphone relatively to any pocket. Its design reminds us of two well-known phone models: for its front area it is truly similar to that of the LG Optimus Black in its white version, while for the case they have been unequivocally inspired by the iPhone models, metallic and resistant.
