Toshiba Announces Canvio 4TB External Hard Drives

Toshiba CANVIO Drives Welcome 4TB Models

The 4TB option offers up to 33% additional storage (compared to 3TB before) for consumers and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) who want to store large files and back up their data.

The use of 1TB disk technology allows CANVIO 4TB models to maintain the same low-profile design as 3TB models. All models are compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.

CANVIO hard drives combine a sleek, slim design with practical features like a ramp-load design to prevent internal wear and tear, plug-and-play functionality, backup software (available on ADVANCE models), and a range of options More flexible capacity with 1TB, 2TB and now 4TB.

The 4TB BASICS is out now and costing around $ 260 . General availability of the 4TB ADVANCE and 4TB READY models will begin in January 2019.
