Toshiba announces its ssd tr200 with 64-layer tlc memory

Inside the Toshiba TR200 hides the new 3D NAND TLC memory technology along with an unknown controller that is capable of reaching performance figures of sequential reading of 550 MB / s and writing of 525 MB / s, on the other hand the 4K random performance reaches 87, 000 IOPS in both read and write.

Toshiba TR200 is offered in capacities from 240 GB to 960 GB to try to adapt to the needs and economic possibilities of all users, with this there will be no excuse to continue with a slow mechanical disk.

No specific details on pricing and release date have been released but are expected to hit the market later this fall.
