ADATA continues to expand its portfolio of solid state storage (SSD) solutions with the availability of new ADATA Ultimate SU800 drives that rely on NAND 3D TLC technology to offer high storage capacities at very competitive prices.

ADATA Ultimate SU800: features, availability and price

The new ADATA Ultimate SU800 comes in storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB to adapt to the needs of all users and their budgets. All of them have 3D TLC NAND memory technology manufactured by IMTF and an internal Silicon Motion SM2258 controller that is supported by a DDR3 RAM memory buffer and an SLC memory cache to improve performance. This is capable of offering maximum sequential read and write speeds of 560 MB / s and 520 MB / s while 4K random throughput amounts to 90, 000 IOPS and 80, 000 IOPS.

All this in a classic SATA III 6 Gb / s format for maximum compatibility and with features focused on improving its energy efficiency such as DevSleep, which reduces consumption significantly when the disk is not being used, thus reducing its energy consumption to only 5mW or even less. Its characteristics continue with a durability of 70-100 TBW for the 120 GB model and 200-400 TBW for the 1 TB capacity model.
