Transcend announces new ddr4 sodimm modules that withstand extreme temperatures

The hardware components are very delicate, so manufacturers have to figure out how to develop new models that are capable of withstanding adverse conditions. Transcend has introduced new DDR4 RAM memory modules in SO-DIMM format that are capable of operating in a much higher temperature range than usual.

The new Transcend memories are SO-DIMM type DDR4-2400 and operate with a nominal voltage of 1.2 V, they are offered in capacities of 8 and 16 GB each module to suit the needs of all scenarios. Their great resistance allows them to operate in environments with adverse conditions, these new memories have no problems withstanding temperatures between –40 ºC and 85 ºC, and are also protected against shocks and electromagnetic disturbances.

Its features are completed with a gold-plated PCB and made with special components for much greater resistance, in its manufacture, hand-selected 8 Gbit DDR4 chips from Samsung are used to place the best ones. They are not memories focused on domestic use but on very adverse environments such as those that usually occur in the desert, the polar areas or space missions.
