Acer has unveiled a new series of notebook computers called TravelMate X3, where its first model, the TravelMate X349, debuts. Acer has wanted to launch a new range of laptops focused on those users who want an austere design team but with good features and an adequate price, oriented more than anything in productivity.

TravelMate X3 will arrive in Europe in September

Coming with the brand new Windows 10, this TravelMate X349 laptop features a 14-inch FullHD display and backlit keyboard for easy use at night or in low light.

Internally the TravelMate X349 comes with new 6th Gen Intel processors (optional), 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of storage space on an SSD drive. Acer does not specify the graphics card, so we assume that it will bring the classic Intel HD present in the processor.

TravelMate X3 has a fingerprint reader

Regarding connectivity, there will be a USB-Type C port and a USB Type-C dock to connect more devices. With this dock we can add up to 2 4K resolution screens and power multiple devices, all with a single cable. The TravelMate X349 also has a 720p HDR webcam, a Precision Touchpad and a convenient fingerprint reader to take advantage of the possibilities of Windows Hello, allowing access to the computer in a simple and secure way.

With a total weight of 1.53kg and a thickness of only 18mm, Acer has confirmed that this new TravelMate X349 will arrive in North America in October for $ 649, while in Europe and the Middle East it will arrive in September, with a price that will start in about 480 euros, a figure that seems quite attractive for what it offers.
