Tsmc will produce a 6 nanometer chip for apple in 2020

It seems that the processor that Apple will use in this year's iPhone is going to be manufactured again in 7 nanometers, like last year. Although the American firm also thinks about 2020, where they hope to introduce changes. Because TSMC, in charge of their production, is already ready to start next year with the production of 6 nanometer processors.

As they have said from TSMC, the production of these chips in 6 nanometers could start in the first quarter of 2020. So they would be in this way ready to be used with the generation of iPhone that would be presented in the fall of 2020. A news that comes when it was speculated that it would be a chip produced in 5 nanometers that would arrive in 2020.

But it seems that this is not the case, at least on Apple phones. Since it is likely that other brands are going to make that jump to 5 nanometers in 2020, possibly Samsung or Huawei with their own processors.
