Assassin's Creed Origins has been the latest heavy launch by Ubisoft and is making headlines every day, the latest news about the videogame has to do with the intention of the French company to NOT offer support for HDR technology to users of PC.

Ubisoft breaks promise with Assassin's Creed Origins PC gamers

It has been through the Ubisoft Twitter account, the same one that had previously published that HDR support would reach all platforms, including the PC. After stating that HDR support will not reach the PC, Ubisoft has modified all previous tweets in which it was mentioned that it would reach each and every platform for which the title has been released. Now it is mentioned that HDR will only come to PS4 and Xbox One.

Assassin's Creed Origins is updated improving with Nvidia and getting worse with AMD

It is true that currently there are few PC monitors that offer HDR support but this is something that will change little by little, in any case you have to ask yourself what is the point of a controversial decision like this for a company of the caliber of Ubisoft? Well, let's not forget that it already has quite a bad reputation among PC players and decisions like this do not help improve its image.

Ubisoft has misled consumers about HDR support on the PC platform and refuses to accept it, one thing was promised before the game was released and after players have bought it they are not going to deliver on what was promised.
