Ubuntu 16.04 lts optimizes unity for modest pcs

One of the biggest criticisms of Ubuntu's Unity interface is due to the high consumption of resources that it has always presented. Despite having improved a lot in this sense over the years, Unity is still very heavy, which seriously limits its use in computers that do not have very advanced hardware.

Canonical lightens Unity with the most modest equipment in mind

Linux has always had the justified reputation of being a much lighter operating system than Windows, something that is true but that also depends a lot on the desktop environment used and in this sense Unity is one of the heaviest options.

Canonical has introduced a new update in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS that greatly optimizes the Unity environment in order to make it work properly on modest computers. This new update is responsible for reducing the graphic effects within the operating system to lighten it and significantly improve its performance.
