Fortnite security flaw
This security flaw in the game was discovered in November, the same month that Epic Games was notified of it by the people who found it. The company fixed this bug in Fortnite after a couple of days, although at no time was such a mistake made public. It was this week when this vulnerability has finally come to light in the popular studio game.
With a message that used a false link, sent to some user of the game, it was possible to obtain their login details. So they obtained the registration credentials and could have control of that account at some point. In the message in question users were promised some in-game reward, which was not real.
One of the data that has been accessed is the credit card number. So for those Fortnite users who don't use two-step verification, it's good to use it or improve your account security. The number of affected users is unknown.
