The first reference cards are reaching the various specialized sites, such as the case of TechGage , which has published a series of images about what has been found inside the box, in addition to the brand new RX VEGA 64.

AMD is sending RX VEGA 64 reference models to reviewers

In the images we can see that AMD is sending the reference card in black and not the limited edition, and for some details, it seems that this is a last minute edition.

The first thing that surprises is that the VEGA logo is not accompanied by the number 64, so these boxes were probably made before knowing the final name that these cards would have. The second thing we can check with this unboxing is that the reference graphics card is longer than the RX 480, so we already know what to expect with the custom models that will be arriving in stores.

It is bigger than the RX 480

Interestingly AMD included in the box a red bracelet with the Radeon RX VEGA inscription and a sample VEGA chip (which is naturally broken).

There is not much more to say about this unboxing and there are some reviewers who have complained that AMD did not send them the limited edition, which is more 'cool', anyway.

The best graphics cards on the market

For now, AMD has everything ready to officially launch its new VEGA 64 and VEGA 56 graphics cards on August 14. The VEGA 64 model would currently be costing around 600 euros, while VEGA 56 would do so for approximately 400 euros.
