Viewsonic elite xg550, new 55-inch gaming monitor

Viewsonic has announced a host of new displays at this year's CES 2020 and one of the most notable has been the 55-inch ELITE XG550.
ELITE XG550 is a 55-inch 'gaming' mega-screen
The ELITE XG550 is a giant gaming screen, similar in scope to Nvidia's BFGD (Big Format Gaming Displays), it's a bit more manageable, if you can call it that, with a 55-inch diagonal, so it should suffice. for any player in a quarter of average dimensions.
The monitor has an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate in 4K and a 0.5ms G2G response time. Support for variable refresh rates is not confirmed in the press release, but we expect support for Adaptive Sync and HDMI-VRR to be included as competing alternatives.

Colors come to life with exceptional contrast and 99% color compatibility with the DCI-P3, making it ideal for next-gen consoles and games with AAA titles. Slim bezels design and RGB ELITE lighting ensure the XG550 fits into any gaming environment. Compatibility and HDR formats are not specifically discussed in the press release, but, being OLED, it is capable of regulating local light per pixel, so it could be ideal for HDR content. Maximum brightness capability and any level of VESA DisplayHDR certification are also not listed at this time.
ELITE XG270QC
Next on the list is the latest 27-inch 1440p gaming screen, the ELITE XG270QC. With a 1500R curvature, this monitor's great strength is its impressive brightness with a luminance of 550 cd / m2, and an impressive 90% color gamut of the DCI-P3. The refresh rate is 165 Hz with a 3ms G2G response time and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology.

Finally, ViewSonic also took advantage of the moment to announce the XG270 monitor. This monitor is G-SYNC compatible and provides a refresh rate of 240 Hz.
ViewSonic ELITE has partnered with Blur Busters to add PureXP, a specialized strobe backlight technology. The response in moving images reaches 0.6 milliseconds, which eliminates strobe crosstalk, without affecting color quality.
Availability
