2015 is not over yet, but it already has a negative record for OS X. The number of malware-type viruses identified on the Apple platform has reached a record high, with a total of 948 malwares found. For comparison, between 2010 and 2014 they were more than 180.
The study focused on a 10-week period studying a volume of 1, 400 malware samples, including the six mentioned above that were the most common.
