WhatsApp is an application that is regularly affected by various threats. Last year it has had a total of 12 reported vulnerabilities, as we have learned. The application is now in the news for the hack suffered by Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon, after receiving a video through the application. So this detail does not help improve the image of the messaging application either.

Without a doubt, it is a sign that security in WhatsApp could improve. The app has said nothing so far about these allegations or data on its serious vulnerabilities from last year.
