Windows 10 build 14372: all its news

As we get closer to the launch of the next major Anniversary Update to be released on July 29, Microsoft continues to develop new Builds that are being released to users of the Insider program. The latest update is Windows 10 Build 14372 which reaches the ring fast so it can be tested.

• Having changed the way Windows 10 Mobile makes backups to reduce the space it occupies in OneDrive, if you go back to the latest official version of the operating system (10586.420) and try to restore the backup created with the compilation of Insider, you will encounter some errors. To start, it will not be possible to restore the order of the tiles on the home screen and the one that comes by default will be loaded in the terminal and the backup will also be overwritten. It is recommended that when you return to version 10586, you deactivate the backup if you want to keep everything you have done in the Inside Builds. The team is investigating the cause of the battery "draining" in Lumia 830, 930 and 1520 devices. (those with SoC 8974). • Clicking on the network or VPN connection box that opens from the taskbar does not lead to the configuration page. There are several issues with the Evernote Web Clipper extension for Microsoft Edge. The plug-in may not load on certain websites or the icon does not appear when adding webs. When enabling Developer Mode, an administration error will appear due to the fact that the necessary packages have not been published correctly through Windows Update.
