Windows 10, the current and rebellious microsoft operating system

Table of contents:

Anonim

Windows 10 came out more or less half a year ago, the promising Operating System (OS) that Microsoft (MS) officially published, continues to fail in certain Hardware and equipment.

Remember that the strongest point of this new OS is mainly its native compatibility with Directx 12, which will mainly give us advantages in future games, thanks to the better overall use of our Hardware.

Windows 10 TH2

Currently its final version is "Threshold 2" (th2), (or service pack 1, to understand us better), which includes certain improvements that were not completely polished in its previous version. MS continues to work with another great update that at the moment, it is not known exactly when we will have it available.

Tips to consider

Next, we will quote brief tips that we will indicate for your installation to those interested in making the change:

1º - Be careful with the update process from Windows 7 or Windows 8 / 8.1, it can lead to many problems, even leaving the equipment unusable. I do not recommend it.

2º - Installation of the "clean" OS, from "zero". with, if possible, the latest revision of w10 (in this case, today, the th2 numbered as 1511).

3º - Investigate if your Hardware is totally compatible and there are exclusive drivers for W10.

4º - Install only the updates that are relevant for the proper functioning, forget, at least for now, to automate them.

5º - Beware of the Activators in versions "Wooden leg".

Finally - Use the Windows scan and repair utility at the end of the installation of all the software. Open Command Prompt (CMD) with administrator privileges and type " sfc / scannow ", hit enter and wait for the process to finish. If there are no errors, it will mark it, in that case, you are in luck, you will not have serious problems with W10.

If it shows you errors that could not be fixed / repaired, you can do two things:

1- Re-install the OS from scratch

2- Revert: install your "old" OS that was working correctly on that computer.

Many users revert to Windows 8.1 due to incompatibilities or instability in certain applications. We will see how this issue is resolved, since a few days ago Windows 8 (dry) will not receive any more updates.

Don't be alarmed. With the passage of time it will polish and fix the errors that we have today, therefore if you can wait, we recommend waiting; If you want to have it already in your teams and you are really going to take advantage of it (as a team dedicated to games, for example), you can install it, but always risking that "something could go wrong".
