The Windows 10 October 2018 update has already broken all records for the number of issues discovered with it. But it seems that Microsoft is far from seeing the end of the problem, as another crash issue with Morphisec has been discovered.

Now Windows 10 doesn't get along well with Morphisec's software development kit

Over the weekend, the company added another issue to the list of known issues with version 1809, this time related to the Morphisec antimalware solution. According to the update history page, this includes not only Morphisec, but also other products created in that Morphisec Software Development Kit. These applications can affect the ability of clients to save Microsoft Office documents.

As with other similar problems, the only known solution for now is to uninstall the affected programs until an updated version is released. Microsoft says it is working with Morphisec and Cisco to resolve the problem. This issue is just the latest addition to the update block list in Windows 10 version 1809, which has had the most troublesome version of all the updates for the Microsoft operating system.

After an initial release that had to be retired just four days later due to major issues, Microsoft re-released the update after more than a month. Since then, more and more known issues have been added to the list, and there are a total of five update paths blocked as of this writing. Last week, Apple and Microsoft came up with a solution for problems with iCloud for Windows, removing one of the update blocks.

We will be on the lookout for new information about this Windows 10 problem in October 2018.
