The Mi AIoT AX3600 router is the first router from the Xiaomi company that supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and is claimed to provide speeds of up to 2976Mbps. Xiaomi has also released the Mi 65W fast charger with GaN technology.

Known mostly for its smartphones in Europe and the US, the reality is that Xiaomi is dedicated to making other products, including routers. This is the case of the Xiaomi AX3600, with support for Wi-Fi 802.11ax or Wi-FI 6.

The AX router has been manufactured based on a 1QHz A53 4-core IPQ8071A CPU (Qualcom) that is combined with 512MB of RAM. It will have 7 antennas (Two for the 2.4GHz band, four for the 5GHz band and one exclusively for IoT), and supports transfers of up to 2402Mbps in its 5GHz band and up to 574Mbps in its 2.4GHz band. It also has three 1Gbps Ethernet ports, plus OFDMA and MU-MIMO 8 × 8 support.

Xiaomi's offering includes six high-performance external signal boosters and a dedicated AIOT smart antenna. It has one-click pairing support for Xiaomi devices and comes with a built-in NetEase gaming 'accelerator'. The Mi AIoT AX3600 router supports the new WPA3 encryption protocol.

It is priced at CNY 599 (about Rs 6, 000) and is now available from the official Mi online store in China. This is approximately about $ 85 or 89 euros. Although we are not sure if it is sold outside of China, it can always be imported, of course. We will keep you informed.
