Xiaomi works in her own soc
Xiaomi is going for it all and is already preparing its own SoC to give life to its future smartphones, thus dispensing with Qualcomm and Mediatek to offer more competitive and differentiated products on the market.
Xiaomi thus joins Samsung and Huawei that have opted to design their own processors, Exynos and Kirin respectively, for their smartphones to the detriment of MediaTel and a Qualcomm that has had many problems with its Snapdragon 810. LG is another manufacturer that has experimented with their own Odin processors.
Xiaomi has previously designed its own low-end Leadcore LC1860 SoC for the Redmi 2A, now it seems that it is more serious and prepares something for mid / high range. The Chinese manufacturer's interest in mobile processors is not something new, in its day it acquired Leadcore Technology to be able to design its own chips.
