Xtreme gaming xtc700, illuminated overclocking heatsink
Table of contents:
Gigabyte insists on adding lighting to all its products and its new Xtreme Gaming XTC700 heatsink could not be less.
Xtreme Gaming XTC700 can dissipate 200W of thermal power
Xtreme Gaming XTC700 is an aluminum cooling system capable of dissipating around 200W of thermal power, at least that's what the Gigabyte people claim. With a height of 169.4 mm and a total weight of 1015 grams, we could not believe it.
The two fans that are responsible for blowing air through the aluminum base is 120 mm with a speed that varies from 500 to 1700 RPM (revolutions per minute). The body of the heatsink is made of aluminum plus three 10mm copper tubes that come into direct contact with the processor.
The Xtreme Gaming XTC700 is specially prepared for significant overclocking, hence the ability to dissipate 200 W of thermal power, which would only occur in extreme cases.
This heatsink has RGB LED lighting, which is configurable using the Gigabyte RGB Spectrum software, especially for use in towers with glass panels so common in modding.
Xtreme Gaming XTC700 will be compatible with all the most used sockets today, LGA2011v3, LGA115x, AM3 +, FM2 +, LGA1366 and the future AM4 for AMD processors.
As already happened with the XK700 keyboard, Gigabyte has not given a price or availability date.
