You can now use fantastical 2 with siri shortcuts
Table of contents:
The popular Fantastical 2 calendar app, available in versions for both iPhone and iPad and Apple Watch, has recently received a new update that brings it up to version 2.10. With it, users receive full support to use the new Siri Shortcuts, but also the possibility of using the app in the complications of the new watch faces that have come with watchOS 5 and the new Apple Watch Series 4.
Fantastical 2 is put to the orders of Siri
Fantastical 2 already offers support for Siri Shortcuts, allowing users to add new events to their calendar, view upcoming events and reminders, and much more, more quickly and easily. Some examples of quick access to Fantastical 2 are:
- Set a phrase like "Hey Fantastical" to automatically open the app and immediately start creating a new event or reminder. Show upcoming events or reminders via a shortcut in the Shortcuts app or on device widgets Jump to a specific reminder list by creating a button on the home screen with the Shortcuts app
After updating your app to the new version, you can see all the available shortcuts by opening the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, selecting the “Siri and search” option, and pressing the “Fantastical 2” option.
Also, as I anticipated at the beginning, Fantastical 2 is compatible with the Siri sphere. In this way, the Apple Watch can suggest upcoming events and reminders that you have established in the application.
You can also use Fantastical 2 to introduce it as a complication in certain areas of the Apple Watch, in order to have on the clock screen the information you need about your upcoming events and reminders.
Fantastical 2 version 2.10 requires iOS 11 or higher for iPhone or iPad, as well as watchOS 4 or later on Apple Watch.
