As of June 27, Samsung Pay (the South Korean company's mobile payment platform) is already compatible with Banco Santander's credit and debit cards, so you can now make your purchases in all the merchants that support contactless payments (without contact), as well as withdraw cash and carry out other types of operations in the more than two thousand ATMs that the entity has in our country. And of course, you can also use it on your vacation abroad this summer.

The operation of Samsung Pay is very simple and similar to other similar mobile payment systems. Just slide your finger up on the screen, choose the card you want to pay with, bring the phone closer to the payment terminal, and authorize the operation with your fingerprint.

In order to use Samsung Pay you must have one of the following smartphones: Galaxy A5 2016 or 2017, Galaxy S6, S6 edge or S6 edge +, Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, and Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, in addition to a credit card / debit from Banco Santander, Banco Sabadell, Abanca or CaixaBank.
