Other applications such as Twitter have also opted for this dark mode or night mode. It is a function that has its origin in Material Design, which has caused more and more applications to bet on using it. So it would not be a surprise if a new application comes out in the coming weeks announcing the introduction of night mode.

In this case, the interface will be named Dark Watch. It will serve to transform the initial panel into black tones in a similar way to the function that we already have available on the website. Not the entire application will be transformed into black tones as there will be some parts that remain in the original white color.

This feature has been a success on the website. So with this decision YouTube hopes that it is also in its Android application. It is not yet known when this dark mode will be available. Although it is expected to be soon.
