Featured with many other cases at Computex, the ZALMAN Z-MACHINE 300 case marks the brand's return to the top with a product made entirely of aluminum, plus some plastic for the clear left side panel.

ZALMAN makes many cutouts in the panel to maximize air flow. The same applies to the panel on the right. And for around 300 euros, the box also includes a PCI-E 16x riser that will serve as a possible graphics card placed behind the motherboard.

The ZALMAN box follows the trend of current compact models with a simplified design that allows a small size of 160 x 310 x 330 mm for 3.8 kg. Slightly larger than other competitors, but for good reason: it is possible to install two 240mm radiators, one on top and one on the bottom.

The power supply is logically limited to SFX or SFX-L, and there are three 2.5 ″ slots. There are two vertical PCI mounts, with a 310mm length limitation for the graphics card. This is enough to install a bunch of cards, especially since there seems to be some room for the 2.5 slot cards. However, this remains to be confirmed.

Available in pink, gray and black, the box also features an original front panel with wide RGB lighting and no connectors.

If liquid cooling is not going to be used, it is possible to install an air cooler with a maximum height of 72 mm.

All in all, the Z-MACHINE 300 seems like a very interesting option for those who prefer a compact, narrower case. We will keep you informed.
