Zhaoxin KX-U6780A, The Chinese CPU is now part of its first mini-PC, the RG-CT7800

The device has been deemed by the manufacturer to be ready for office, medical and government use. Customers can deploy the RG-CT7800 mini-PC as a conventional PC or in a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environment.

The RG-CT7800 is shaped like a 2.4-liter black chassis. The device features a custom motherboard designed especially for the KaiXian KX-U6780A. The motherboard comes with two DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM slots as well.

The KX-U6780A is based on Zhaoxin's LuJiaZui microarchitecture. It is an eight-core, eight-wire processor manufactured using TSMC's 16nm process. The eight-core chip has a nominal frequency of 2.7 GHz and contains 8 MB of L2 cache. The KX-U6780A works with a TDP of 70W.

Ruijie Networks offers the RG-CT7800 with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD drive. One of the product images shows the device with what appear to be four USB 2.0 ports and two 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphones. It is unclear what other outputs the RG-CT7800 has.
