Adata Releases Two New SSD MSATA Drives: XPG SX300 and Premier Pro SP300
ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash memory products, today announces the launch of its new mSATA XPG SX300 and Premier Pro SP300 solid state drives . Both products are intended for users trying to get the best out of the new motherboards that make up the mSATA socket. By using an mSATA SSD as a cache drive instead of primary storage, teams that implement it can achieve much higher speeds compared to those using SSDs as their primary storage unit.
The XPG SX300 has a SATA 6 Gb / s interface and is intended for advanced users who need the highest possible speed and capacity. The maximum read and write speeds are 550 and 505 MB per second respectively with a maximum random 4K write speed of up to 85, 000 IOPs. With 64, 128, and 256 GB capacities and a small form factor, the SX300 brings the full power of solid state drive technology to the mSATA format.
The Premier Pro SP300 has a SATA 3 Gb / s interface and is an economical option that allows you to upgrade any device. The maximum read and write speeds are 280 and 260 GB per second with a maximum random 4K write speed of up to 46, 000 IOPs. Its 24, 32 and 64 GB capacity options allow for use alongside a larger, slower mechanical drive, making the SP300 an extremely cost-effective option for increasing system speed.
Availability
Both units will go on sale through official distributors at a recommended price of USD109.99 (SX300 64GB), USD179.99 (SX300 128GB), USD349.99 (SX300 256GB), USD59.99 (SP300 24GB), USD69, 99 (SP300 32GB) and USD103.99 (SP300 64GB) VAT not included.
