Adata presents the new xpg emix h20 gaming headset: feature review
Table of contents:
At CES 2019, ADATA introduced its new XPG EMIX H20 Gaming Headset, gaming headsets with virtual 7.1 surround sound and 50mm drivers with RGB lighting. We take the opportunity to review its most relevant characteristics.
Positional precision and virtual 7.1 surround sound
Virtually all manufacturers today have headsets that implement virtual 7.1 surround sound, and ADATA did not want to be less with its new EMIX H20 gaming headphones.
These XPG EMIX H20, as the manufacturer claims, will allow us to position our enemies on the battlefield thanks to the virtual 7.1 sound that it implements natively. Of course it will be perfectly configurable from the control software. This headset has 50mm neodymium drivers with a frequency response between 20 and 20, 000 Hz and 32 Ohms impedance, under a wired USB connection interface.
They also have an extendable microphone with an omnidirectional sensor that we can activate or deactivate from the headset itself. The brand has implemented a truly eye-catching LED lighting system in the ear cups, although they only have the only breathing effect in RGB. In terms of design, we see that plastic abounds in both the circummaural domes and the manually adjustable headband.

As for availability, what is clear is that they are not yet available in our country, we do not have data on price or arrival date, so it is time to be pending and waiting for new news from the manufacturer. This headset will be located in a mid-range, with standard features compared to the rest of the market and a price that should not exceed 70 or 80 euros in our opinion. You can visit the manufacturer's website to see these XGP EMIX H20 in more detail. What do you think of these headphones? Do you think virtual 7.1 sound is an advantage, or disadvantage for gaming?
