Hardly a month has passed since the joint publication of AMD Ryzen and Navi , but we already have new news about the Texan company. As we are seeing, there is a name related to the hardware company that is being repeated a lot over the network: AMD Navi 12 .

AMD Navi 12

According to different news sources and leaks, AMD Navi 12 is under development for future projects, possibly AMD RX 5800 . AMD Navi 12 is expected to be a new, more powerful and aggressive iteration of the original Navi architecture. The micro-architecture will be more refined, it will be more efficient and, probably, it will have more surface to work on, that is, more transistors.

With a little perspective, we see that the original Navi graphics put Nvidia's RTX series in check . As a countermeasure, the green team was forced to pull out the SUPER line of graphics with more transistors, memory, and other similar enhancements.

Currently, due to performance, price and profitability issues, AMD Navi graphics have unbalanced Nvidia in the range of € 300-500. Therefore, it seems that this new line of graphics will point, at least, to the superior line of graphics of the competition.

As we already know, above € 500 , the green team still remains without competition. However, as things have gone, AMD has the confidence and muscle to challenge its adversary at the highest limits.

We would be talking about competition for TU104 boards like the RTX 2080 SUPER, although it could be more ambitious and challenge the RTX 2080 Ti itself. In this second case we would be seeing how the red team returns with more force than ever, offering a fight to Intel and Nvidia at the same time.

However, we remind you that this is only speculation about leaks. We do not have anything confirmed, nor announcement or departure dates, so we recommend you stay up to date with the news.

What do you want AMD to do in the future? Continue increasing the power of your graphics or refine your formula and offer powerful graphics at a low cost? Tell us your ideas below.
