The AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card has once again been seen in the listings of its custom ECC variants. The graphics card is expected to launch early next year and settle in as a variant between the RX 5500 XT and the Radeon RX 5700, which means we can guess where its final performance will end.

AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT would have 6 or 8GB variants of VRAM

The AMD Radeon RX 5600 series would be the latest addition to the Navi family. However, we have known little or no details about the upcoming lineup, but the new listings show some unusual specs for the lineup. Until now, we only knew that the Radeon RX 5600 XT existed and that it has 6 GB of GDDR6 memory, but now, there are two different models that appear with two different sets of memory configurations.

There are several models of the Radeon RX 5600 series listed on ECC. Surprisingly, we can see both the RX 5600 XT and RX 5600. What's more interesting, the cards come in either 6GB or 8GB configurations.

Listed below are the custom models that have been seen

Now, previous reports have indicated that the AMD Radeon RX 5600 series would have 6 GB of GDDR6 memory through a 192-bit bus interface, so 8 GB sounds unusual because it does not only mean that we will have two different specifications for the same card, but also a different memory configuration for both cards. The 8GB GDDR6 memory configuration would indicate a 256-bit bus interface or a lower 128-bit bus like the one on the RX 5500 XT, which doesn't make sense. Gigabyte's RX 5600 series is claimed to also mention 6GB GDDR6 memory, so this could be listing error for ASUS.

We know that there will be RX 5600 and RX 5600 XT models available to the consumer, unlike the RX 5500 series, where we only have the XT model available.
