AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card specifications have been confirmed in a product listing on the ASRock website. This is the ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB Challenger variant, which has been listed before its launch, proving that this new line of Navi-based GPUs are just around the corner.

The full specifications of the card are listed and in fact based on the 7nm Navi RDNA graphics architecture. The surprising thing is that the Radeon RX 5600 XT has a much better GPU specification than we expected. This GPU has 36 calculation units or 2304 SP, this chip offers the same number of cores as the Radeon RX 5700. The specific variant for the RX 5600 XT has not been confirmed yet, but it could be a Navi 10 GPU or a totally die different.

When it comes to memory design, this is where we start to see big differences between the Radeon RX 5700 and the Radeon RX 5600 XT. While the Radeon RX 5700 has 8GB GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit bus interface, the Radeon RX 5600 XT has 6GB GDDR6 with a 192-bit bus. The Radeon RX 5700 also offers a higher bandwidth of 448 GB / s, using 14 Gbps DRAM arrays while the 5600 XT would offer a bandwidth of 288 GB / s, using slower 12 Gbps DRAM arrays.

Therefore, the performance difference between the two graphics cards would lie in memory speed, bandwidth, and clock speeds. The 5600 XT has a 1235 MHz base clock, a 1460 MHz gaming clock and a 1620 MHz boost clock. While the reference RX 5700 supports a 1465 MHz base clock, a 1625 MHz gaming clock and a boost clock 1725 MHz.
