AMD Ryzen 3000 continues to lead sales at largest German retailer

In the German market in its second month since launch, as revealed in the latest market share report from one of Germany's largest hardware and PC retailers, Mindfactory. The latest report once again shows the strong sales of AMD's new Zen 2-based CPUs that were released in July.

The latest MindFactory statistics are once again shared by Reddit user Ingebor and show that AMD Ryzen 3000 sales and revenue figures remain strong and dominate Intel's Core line. According to the latest statistics, the AMD Ryzen 3000 CPU accounted for 78% of the total CPU sold in retail, up from just 22% of Intel CPU sales. Actual sales were around 18, 000 units, while fewer than 5, 000 Intel CPUs were sold. The figures are close to those of last month, in which AMD Ryzen 3000 in its first month managed to represent 79% of sales figures.

The most popular processor was the Ryzen 5 3600 which is one of the best budget options available on the market right now under $ 200. The Ryzen 7 3700X also sold very well, and the Ryzen 5 2600 managed to rank third as it is now available for less than $ 140 making it an extremely chip in the price / performance segment. The Ryzen 5 3600 only managed to sell more than the entire ninth-generation Intel lineup, which is surprising.

The higher number of AMD CPU sales also resulted in a much higher revenue share of 75%, while Intel CPUs managed to account for only 28% of MindFactory's revenue.

Possibly these results will extend for the rest of the year, at least, until Intel launches its tenth generation Intel Core.
