ASRock has leaked the existence of the Ryzen 7 2700E and Ryzen 5 2600E in a list of the processors supported by their motherboards with socket AM4. The Ryzen 5 2600E is a Zen-based six-core, twelve-wire processor running at a base speed of 3.1 GHz and an unknown turbo speed. It is a reduction of 700 MHz compared to the Ryzen 5 2600X to leave it with a TDP of only 45W. Of course, it maintains the 16MB of L3 cache and the 3MB of L2 cache. With these modifications AMD has managed to reduce the TDP of the Ryzen 5 2600X in half, something essential to be used in the most compact and light notebooks.

As for the Ryzen 7 2700E, it is an 8-core, 16-wire processor that operates at a base frequency of 2.70 GHz, which is 1.1 GHz slower than the Ryzen 7 2700X, to reduce the TDP from 105 to 45W, something really impressive for a multi-core processor. It maintains the 16MB of L3 cache and a 4MB L2 cache.

These new Ryzen 7 2700E and Ryzen 5 2600E processors will be most interesting for light notebooks and AIO equipment with good features, remember that all AMD processors can be overclocked, so you can improve their performance if you want.
