It appears that AMD is preparing a new AMD Ryzen 12-core 24-thread processor to fight Intel's HEDT platform. If you remember a few days ago we could see a related news AMD 16 cores and 32 threads and that promises sublime performance.

AMD Ryzen 12-core 24-wire

Everything indicates that this new 12-core, 24-thread AMD Ryzen is ready for AMD's new X390 platform. In the test that was recorded in Sisoft Sandra, it can be seen that the processor runs at a base frequency of 2.69 GHz and with the turbo activated, possibly increases to 3.2 GHz.

It would not be surprising either, that applying overclock can go up to 3.6 GHz without much difficulty. Although it will be necessary to see if the motherboard supports it and the processor itself.

We also see that the PC used is an AlienWare Area-51 R3 that has not yet been released to the market. The R2 version has Intel Broadwell-E processors: i7-6800K and the complete i7-6850K. Plan renew at Dell? Will this new processor be one of the members of the new AMD Ryzen 9 series? 1900X?

We recommend reading the best processors on the market.

What is clear would be for a very specific audience and it will not be the best option for the most enthusiastic players. For this we will have to wait for the recent launch of the new AMD Ryzen 5 1600X and AMD Ryzen 5 1500X.
