If we told you a few days ago that AMD Ryzen would work without any problem with Windows 7, finally AMD has denied this information and will not release drivers for one of the most used operating systems.

AMD Ryzen will not have drivers for Windows 7

This news is quite sad for those users who are having such a hard time getting rid of Windows 7 and don't like the new design that Windows 10 offers. But AMD's stance seems quite evident to us, since Windows 10 is going really well (without counting its countless bugs) and it brings out enough potential to all the games that are released every day: new APIs, drivers for your PC, directX12, etc…).

So will it not be compatible with Windows 7? Of course it does, since its x86 architecture allows it. What's more, AMD claims to have all its Windows 7 and Windows 10 processors tested and verified, but will not offer any official drivers for the older operating system.

Okay, but… What does this mean? Well, if you decide to install Windows 7 with the new processors, basically you will not be able to get the most out of the AMD Ryzen processors on this platform and they almost force us to opt for more modern systems.

AMD confirms that it gets on the bandwagon with Intel and Microsoft for not supporting Windows 7.

What do you think of AMD's decision with Ryzen and Windows 7? Are you sick of waiting and want to see real results? Are you very hype or bored? We want to know your opinion.
