The popular Der8auer overclocker has been one of the first to access these new BIOSes that enable booting from RAID NVMe on AMD Ryzen Threadripper and has uploaded a video to YouTube to show the performance that is achieved using an 8 NVMe disk configuration on AMD's new platform. Der8auer has used an Asus X399 ROG Zenith Extreme motherboard on which 8 Samsung 960 PRO / EVO discs have been installed with the help of two Asus Hyper M.2 X16 cards. IOmeter has registered a speed of 28375.84 MB / s with this configuration, a truly spectacular figure that shows the superiority of AMD's new HEDT processors in this regard thanks to its impressive 64 PCI Express lanes.
