So far there has been very little information revealed about AMD's future high-performance microprocessors with the Zen micro-architecture, little by little we are learning more details and now it has been leaked that they will arrive in the third quarter of the future year 2016.

Future CPUs with AMD Zen micro-architecture will be codenamed “Summit Ridge” and they will be manufactured in 14nm by GlobalFoundries and Samsung. The chips will integrate up to 8 cores with DDR4 memory controller and a 95W TDP.

They will arrive along with the new socket FM3 so it could be the future A-series APU of the company although nothing has been said about its integrated graphics and the 8-core model could arrive without integrated graphics to replace the current FX with the Piledriver microarchitecture, this would mean AMD is going to unify socket for its APUs and FX substitutes.

These new AMD processors should arrive in the third quarter of 2016 so there are still about 18 months to go and a lot of information to know.
