Aorus geforce rtx 2080 xtreme waterforce announced

Gigabyte has unveiled four new graphics cards based on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Waterforce. The new cards are placed under the denominator of Aorus and all receive water cooling for better performance. There are variants with AIO radiator and variants with water block.

GeForce RTX 2080 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce arrive

GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Waterforce 11G and RTX 2080 Xtreme Waterforce 8G are equipped with RGB lighting on the front, side and rear of the backplate. The two 120mm radiator fans are also equipped with LED lighting. Variants with a copper water block, indicated by the addition 'WB', are more suitable for people who want to take care of the cooling for themselves. The waterblock uses conventional 0.25-inch G accessories and covers the GPU, memory and MOSFETs of the graphics card.

All cards have two additional hdmi ports compared to Founder's Edition cards. As for the other specifications, there are no differences between the versions with an all-in-one cooling system and a water block. These RTX 2080 graphics cards reach a clock speed of 1890 MHz, much higher than the 1710 MHz that we find in the reference cards thanks to their 12 + 2 phase VRM .

In the case of RTX 2080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Waterforce they reach a central clock speed of 1770 MHz, a great boost compared to the 1545 MHz of the reference cards thanks to a 16 + 3 phase VRM. The company also mentions that it's possible to enjoy a four-year warranty on these cards instead of the standard three-year, as long as buyers sign up on the manufacturer's website.
