Gigabyte has launched a new variant of its popular Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition graphics card, characterized by the use of a liquid cooling solution to get the most out of its Nvidia Pascal GP102 core. Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition is announced.

Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition comes from the factory with a full coverage water block that allows connection to a high performance custom liquid cooling system. The base of the block is made from the best quality nickel plated copper to maximize heat transfer from the card core to the coolant flowing inside the block. The upper part is made of clear acrylic material to give a great aesthetic and that the fluid can be seen circulating. This transparent part is designed with the Aorus logo and includes configurable RGB LED lighting using Gigabyte RGB Fusion software.

The Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition comes from the factory with overclocked frequencies of 1632/1746 MHz at its core to improve the reference card that reaches 1480/1582 MHz. The memory maintains its reference speed of 11 GHz per so there are no changes in available bandwidth. The card is powered by two 8-pin connectors and maintains the same VR-optimized video connector of the air-cooled version. It includes three DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 and a dual-link DVI-D port. Price has not been announced.
