Apple is working to reduce the amount of waste and materials they use to make their iPhones. So at its Texas plant the firm has introduced a robot named Daisy. This rebound is responsible for extracting parts and material from old brand phones, so that they will be able to be used again when manufacturing new models. They hope this will be done generally with their new generation.

The great objective of Apple is to recycle minerals, so that they will be able to reduce or eliminate completely the dependence that they have on supplier companies. This is the objective of the firm, which seeks to have more control over the production of its iPhone. Although several experts have questioned the feasibility of this plan by the American firm.

Using old telephones to be able to obtain minerals again is something little viable according to many. So it remains to be seen if Apple really achieves this desired goal, in the medium term at least. Since the firm is investing a lot in this field.
