Asrock updates its motherboards for ryzen 3000, includes the a320
Table of contents:
The latest update to the ASUS multi-motherboard BIOS triggered alarms as A320 motherboards were left without the support of Ryzen 3000 processors, for now. However, ASRock will support the new Ryzen processors on its A320 motherboards.
ASRock A320 motherboards would have support for Ryzen 3000
All ASRock motherboards receive a BIOS update (AGESA to 0.0.7.2) that supposedly supports Ryzen 3000 processors. You can check the full list of all motherboards that are getting this update on the ASRock support page here and that page shows the models for the A320, B350, X370, B450 and X470 chipsets getting the same AGESA 0.0 firmware update.7.2.
This may bring some relief for those A320 motherboard owners who are considering upgrading as soon as the new Ryzen 3000 processors are in stores.

Here are a few things to clarify regarding the AGESA 0.0.7.2 update and Ryzen 3000 support. This ASRock firmware update can be of two types, they can probably support Ryzen 3000 processors, but it is also very possible that the new support is intended only for 3000 series APUs, and these are based on Zen + architecture (series 2000). This is something that is not specified in the list, it just says it is updated to AMD AGESA 0.0.7.2.
At the electrical supply level, the A320 motherboards should have support for Ryzen 3000, since in that aspect they do not differ from those B350. Either way, it seems that the full support of current motherboards for the new series of processors is not being as easy to implement as we thought. We will keep you informed.
