ASRock has a new motherboard in its vast catalog of products, the Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S. This motherboard would be positioning itself below the Z390 Phantom Gaming 4 and the Z390 Pro4.

Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S will be the cheapest option among ASRock Z390 motherboards

ASRock has unveiled the Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S motherboard in a narrow ATX format. The board uses a 6 + 2 phase VRM to power the Intel LGA1151 socket, which is connected around it with four DDR4 DIMM slots and a single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 port.

There is also a second x16 slot connected to the PCH. Not to be missed is the M.2 PCIe E-key slot (for WLAN cards) and three open PCIe 3.0 x1 slots that allow the rest of the expansion area. Storage connectivity includes just one M.2-22110 slot for an ultra-fast SSD drive and six 6Gbps SATA ports.

If we want to use the integrated video output, we have a single HDMI port. USB connectivity includes eight USB 3.2 gen 1 ports, four on the rear panel and four on one header. The motherboard's only 1GbE network interface is controlled by the classic Intel i219-V. The on-board audio solution uses a Realtek ALC1220 chip with 6-channel analog output, audio capacitors, and isolation to prevent extraneous noise.

Addressable RGB lighting is present with a 3-pin header and there are two 4-pin RGB with five 4-pin PWM fan heads.

This could be one of the cheapest ASRock Z390 motherboards, priced between $ 110 and $ 120.
