Asrock presents the first hedt phantom gaming motherboard

ASRock has unveiled its first HEDT motherboard under the Phantom Gaming brand, the X399 Phantom Gaming 6. The Phantom Gaming line, recently introduced with Intel's Z390 series, will replace the FATAL1TY line, which has existed for years, but ASRock will now place more emphasis on its 'gaming' brand for generations to come.

ASRock Introduces X399 Phantom Gaming 6 Motherboard for Threadripper

The ASRock X399 Phantom Gaming 6 is the high-end motherboard of the ASRock X399 family. It comes with a design scheme similar to that of the X399 FATAL1TY series with an aggressive metallic finish on the heatsinks and matte black covers. The motherboard features the TR4 socket and an 8-phase Digi power delivery system. Power is provided by a dual 8-pin connector and there are a total of eight DDR4 DIMM slots that can support up to 128GB of total capacity. The card is designed to support memory speeds of up to 3400 MHz (OC +).

In terms of design, the board appears to be reaching the cost-spec range rather than going all out with a pricing scheme above $ 400. Either way, its price has not been disclosed, at the moment.
