The mini-ITX motherboard segment has a new member that uses the AMD X570 chipset. ASUS announced its ROG Strix X570-I motherboard last July and now it is coming to retail stores.

If you have your eyes on one of these compact motherboards for third generation Ryzen, then we have good news. The ROG Strix X570-I will reportedly hit store shelves at any time. In fact, perhaps right now while you are reading this they are surely available.

The motherboard has (in terms of mini-ITX designs) some very cool features. Most notable among them is the use of some very smart interconnected heatsinks that use two 30mm fans. These provide a really decent cooling potential between the obviously reduced processor socket and the VRM points.

Beyond this, it has many specs that we would expect from the ASUS ROG brand. These include 2 M.2 drive slots, PCI-E 4.0 compatibility, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and more.

Although no retailer has yet (as far as we can see) launched their page for this product, the ASUS ROG Strix X570-I has been formally launched with a retail price of $ 220.

Although the price may seem a bit expensive for a motherboard, in terms of mini-ITX design using the AMD Ryzen platform, we honestly can't think of anything better with this feature set.
