During a recent interview, Vicky Wang of Biostar responded about future AMD and Intel motherboards that will hit the market in no time. One of them is AMD B550 motherboards, the mid-range version of X570 that has been on the market for some time. According to the report, motherboards with the B550 chip should be in stores in the first quarter of 2020.
The mid-range version of the X570 is coming out a bit late, as they would have to compete with the already inexpensive versions of the X570 motherboards currently on the market.
Intel's 400 series chipset will be released next year at a similar time to that of AMD's mid-range motherboards, this chipset is specially designed for Comet Lake-S processors. Wang mentioned that the Z490 will be targeting higher-end motherboards, which will offer more features than the other motherboards in the B460 and H410 chipsets.

The B460 motherboard would be the mid-range motherboard that offers some high-end features, but at a lower cost, this is usually done by cutting back on the features that cost more to add, while the H410 chipset motherboards would be the more expensive option.
