The German brand has chosen a very careful presentation to offer the Be Quiet! Silent Loop 240mm to users, the product is presented with a cardboard box with a design based on the company's corporate colors, as it could not be otherwise.

The printing of the box is of the best quality, and shows us a great image of the heatsink, as well as all the platforms with which it is compatible. The large space available has also been used to detail its features in various languages including Spanish.

Once seen in the wrapper, open the box and see what is hidden inside. The base of the CPU block is finished in nickel-plated copper and highly polished to achieve the best contact, it has a mirror finish so the level of polishing is maximum, a technique used to minimize imperfections.

The block has a fairly simple appearance with a polished finish in which only the brand logo stands out. Be Quiet! It has decided to invest money in what really matters, for this reason it has moved away from additions such as RGB lighting, which makes the product more expensive without providing anything in terms of quality and performance. The pump features reverse flow technology with a speed of 2200 RPM and a 3-pin connector for the motherboard. A plug has been included in this block, which allows the cooling fluid sink to be filled when necessary.

Lastly, we look at the two 120mm Pure Wings 2 fans included in the bundle. They are top quality fans, with a rifle-type bearing with a 4-pole motor that guarantees operation with minimum vibrations and maximum silence. To test the actual performance of the heatsink we are going to stress with the powerful Intel Core i7-8700K at stock speed. As usual, our tests consist of 72 uninterrupted hours of work in stock values, since being a ten-core processor and with high frequencies, temperatures can be high.

In this way, we can observe the highest temperature peaks and the average that the heatsink reaches. We must bear in mind that when playing or using other types of software, the temperature will drop dramatically between 7 to 12ºC.

How are we going to measure the processor temperature? For this test we will use the internal sensors of the processor under the supervision of the HWiNFO64 application in its latest version. Be Quiet! It has surprised us again with its liquid cooling Be Quiet! Silent Loop 240mm. An ultra quiet model (but one of the real ones) and that performs as the best Water Cooler system we have tested for the 1151 socket.

With an i7 8700K we have obtained 26ºC at rest and 71ºC at full power . While with overclock we have been able to play quietly at 5 GHz, without exceeding 75 ºC, although as you already know the temperatures in the benchmark are quite higher and more if they carry if the AVX is activated.

We think that at the assembly level it should be easier. We do not like that at this point we are screwing nuts and fixing screws like 10 years ago. It is one of the points to improve in future reviews. Although the compatibility with Intel and AMD processors (including AM4) we liked it a lot.
