Bethesda has reached out to the developer community just prior to the release of the first beta of Fallout 76, which hit Xbox One on October 23 at 7:00 p.m. and ended four hours later.

Bethesda highlights its work in Fallout 76 with the arrival of the beta

Bethesda highlights how different Fallout 76 is from previous games in the franchise. The developer cites the inspiration for Fallout 76 as coming from wanting to try something new after feeling as if all previous Bethesda games had similar DNA.

“Our worlds, be it Fallout, Elder Scrolls, or the upcoming Starfield, are important places for us. We do our best to treat them with care. We know that they mean the same to the user ”.

Bethesda also acknowledged that it treats Fallout 76 a little differently than previous titles in the series. Earlier, the company said its employees take a short break after launching a game. With Fallout 76, Bethesda is looking at the game launch as if it were the starting line.

“Given what we are doing with Fallout 76, we know that we are opening everyone up to all the great new themes that none of us have come across. Some of which we are aware, as areas where performance should improve with many players."

Despite the fact that the first beta is exclusive to Xbox One, Bethesda is tracking another beta for PS4 and PC on October 30. Although beta periods are only a few hours, each will offer the full Fallout 76 experience. You can only participate in the beta by pre-ordering Fallout 76. The game will launch on November 14 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
