How to set up mail in Windows 10
Click on the Mail tile to start the application and press the "Start" button. If you're signed in to your Microsoft account, the app should already have Outlook.com listed.
Access the "Settings" icon in the lower left corner, or swipe down from the right edge of the screen, and then tap "Settings. " From the right sidebar, select Accounts> Add Account.
A window will open where you will have to choose the account. Mail comes ready with all the popular types of email services. Select the type of account you want to add and follow the instructions that Mail will show you. If the settings are correct, then you will go directly to the account inbox. If more than one account has been configured, you can switch between them by selecting "Accounts" in the upper left corner.
Link multiple inboxes
In Mail you can link your inboxes, to see all the messages of all your emails in a centralized inbox. Go to "Settings". From the right sidebar, click Manage Accounts> Link Inboxes.
A popup window will open. Now, simply select the accounts you want to link and give the new inbox a name.
Customize the Mail experience
Click the "Settings" button in the lower right corner of the screen. There are two types of Mail settings: those specific to an account, and those that apply to all accounts. Go to Settings> Personalization, in the right sidebar. Here you can choose from a collection of 10 different themes or use Windows for seamless integration. You can toggle between light and dark themes, and set the background to cover the entire window or just the panel on the right where you read new messages and compose new emails. To add your own background image, click "Browse" and select any image stored on your PC.
You can also pin an account from your inbox or any other Mail folder to your Start Menu for instant access. In this way, through the Windows 10 Mail application, accessing your messages and different inboxes is much easier and faster.
